I realize she doesn’t write solely for peer praise, but I tend to like almost everything Sarah Lacy writes. It’s a great example of how the pendulum will swing at some point away from “as fast as you can” news, to more lacy / 60 minutes style. I’m guessing we’re 30 years away from that though, when computers are writing Engadget / other quickish blogs for us, and all we can do is analyze and create original thought, rather than churn out information.

But, it still costs cash. I think I might subscribe to a best-of tech mag with my favorite writers (Biz insider kids, Sarah Lacy, other in-depthers.)
